These coils are designed for twin-cylinder motorcycles and ensure high performance. The coil comes with silicone cables, which guarantee durability and resistance to weather conditions, with a diameter of 8.8 mm. Using the wrong coil can damage the motorcycle's electronic ignition module. To determine the type of ignition, perform the following test: 1. Determine if the coil to be replaced is a dual coil. (These coils CANNOT be replaced with single coils). 2. With a voltmeter or 12V test light, connect the positive cable to the positive terminal and the negative cable to the ground on one of the stock coils. 3. Turn on the ignition, but DO NOT press the starter button. 4. If there are 12 V on the coil, the motorcycle has an inductive ignition. If there is no voltage on the coil, the motorcycle has a CDI ignition because the current reaches the control unit first.
