Generation Systems
These are compact, lightweight, and powerful generation systems. We are able to achieve full performance from energy generation systems by leveraging our strengths in both the development and production of alternating current generators (generators) and controllers.
AC Generators
Alternating current generators for motorcycles are permanent magnet generators directly connected to the engine's crankshaft to generate rotational engine power. This is used as a power source for a variety of electrical and electronic components that serve various functions, such as charging the battery and powering control units.
Other functions include using the teeth on the flywheel's circumference and the coil to create the signal used for ignition timing control and obtaining inertia to stabilize the engine's rotation and the vehicle's body.
The generators provided by CA Kokusan Denki are used in a wide range of models, from scooters to off-road, super sports, and American motorcycles, and are used by many manufacturers in Japan and abroad.
Regulators
Regulators allow the conversion of the alternating current output of alternating current generators while maintaining a constant voltage charge for the battery.
CDI Ignition Units (Ignition Control Units)
A CDI ignition unit is an ignition device that ignites the air-fuel mixture in the engine cylinder, allowing the engine to continue running efficiently. Electrical energy from the battery or generator (alternating current generator, magnets) is transmitted to the spark plug to generate a strong spark. Depending on the model, some units use a gas or switch control function.
The ignition capacitor is charged with electrical charge, the signal from the pickup coil that indicates the ignition position is received, the ignition coil discharges, and a strong spark occurs between the spark plug electrodes.
The CDI ignition units provided by Kokusan Denki are used in a wide range of applications, including motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, outboard engines, and general-purpose engines.
Ignition Coils
An ignition coil is a transformer that generates the high voltage necessary for ignition. The mutual induction action of the two coils generates a high voltage of 10,000 to 40,000 volts that produces a strong spark between the engine's ignition spark plug electrodes.
The ignition coils provided by Kokusan Denki are used in a wide range of applications, including motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, outboard engines, and general-purpose engines.
Pickup Coils
The pickup coil detects the engine's speed and crankshaft angle (current piston position) and generates a corresponding signal to provide information to the CDI ignition device to determine the ignition timing.
The pickup coils provided by Kokusan Denki are used in a wide range of applications, including motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, outboard engines, and general-purpose engines.
